Joe bought his tasty little 9N Olop down to see Geoff for a tickle with the air ride stick, and thanks to some custom made GAZ front legs and a very neat boot install, he left a happy man. Having scooped a second place trophy at the Club Charlys show in Belgium, something tells us this little car is due some more praise real soon, after we've convinced him to keep the pink banded steelies because they look qualiiitteeee! Volks Dub 2010
Another weekend overseas for a small selection of the HAVOC crew. As the trusty T5 stead was readied for yet another cross continent blast Jimbo and Geoff buckled up and headed for a innocent looking industrial estate in a nowhere part of Holland called Andelst, little did they know that the next couple of days would be the biggest air ride adventure yet, as fittings, captive nuts and all sorts started to play silly buggers.
With help from Jereon and Jarno at the Leenders family VW garage all was soon remedied, and we were on our way to Well, for a two day drinking, eating and sunshine fest that also featured shedloads of quality dubs along the way. As honourary British guests we also blagged our way in and secured loads of meat for our own private after hours BBQ, but fending off drunken German / Dutch neighbours proved a little difficult without any of their lingo. Still... we managed to eat, drink and be merry, and the standard of cars was exceptional. Another blinding weekend amongst an monumentally chilled bunch of non-weed smoking Netherlanders!

Geoff - not just a pretty face.....
.... he occasionally does some graft as well. All this painting, welding, filling and fabrication activity was caught within a two week period, so with photographic evident we now know that he doesn't just sit at the desk making people coffee whilst talking the talk about beds and headboards!
Even Maxer the HAVAIR mascot agrees that Geoff is more than just good at chatting ;-)
You know we love ya really G.

Those Crazy Holland Guys
So the Havoc Crew took
a trip over the pond to
yearly meet,
So we packed are bags

Mk1 in tow, and off we went
on our road trip!,
In true style for british
transport there was a delay,
But Once on the other side
it was plain sailing,
We checked in Chilled out
and watch some
monkeys on TV but il say no more!!,
and of course there where a few beers comsumed in the bar with the company of jarno himself and the detailed crew, The show came together nicely, here are some snaps to look at. there was a great atmosphere friendly people and of course some amazing cars. The likes of a Mk5 R32 with HGP Turbo conversion, and Baz's Mk4 Gti which was housing the Mk5 Gti lump!. Geoffs Mk1 and T5 on havair Kits got alot of attention and he also bagged himself a couple of trophys Here are more pictures of geoff taking it easy which was a nice finish to the day. Stonor Park '10
Another weekend, another blinding VW show. This time it's a fairly local one with the club spending the night under the stars in the grounds of Stonor Park, Henley upon Thames
A couple of big cars caught our attention with a Rallye sporting an R36 lump and J-Tec Automotive's track attack Mk2 440bhp 1.8T packing some crazy motorsport technology. How about rear wheel speed sensors from a Mk3 VR that are linked to the engine ECU to dish out variable boost through the gears to optimise traction? Starting with 8PSI in 1st and spiking at around 25PSI in 3rd and 4th. How mad is that?

HAVAIR - Air Ride
Want air ride but don't know where to go? Then check out our latest venture. For some time now we've been concerned about the quality, affordability and level of service that we've received when ordering air ride parts for our own cars, and as most of them come from overseas we decided it would be easier if we had our own suspension legs made to our specifications, imported some seriously trick compressors and got some top quality Firestone bags to eliminate the confusion and myths that all too often surround air ride systems.
If you'd like anymore info about fitting a bespoke system to your car, surf over to http://havair.com/ to find out more. HAVAIR was born because we want to give you the kind of friendly service that every decent garage should be known for. Mk1 - Mk6 Golf platforms a speciality, but anything is possible.
